Eunhye was born in Seoul, South Korea in 1987. She received B.S. in Chemistry from Seoul National University in 2010. She carried her undergraduate study in the lab of Prof. Tae-Lim Choi, and decided to keep studying synthetic polymer chemistry as a graduate student in the same group. In 2016, she completed her Ph.D. studies on the development of the cyclopolymerization of 1,6heptadiynes based on the olefin metathesis reaction. By wrapping up the ten-year of life in SNU (a.k.a. Gwanak Mt.), she moved to Berkeley as a postdoctoral researcher of the Hartwig group. In her spare time, she enjoys watching baseball games and doing grocery shopping.
